I enjoyed this novel in spite of the Twilight similarities. I was a little perturbed that the author didn’t explain why moving to a warmer climate wasn’t an option until page 300-something (I kept telling my husband that the solution was obvious and I was getting really annoyed that I was the only one with any common sense) since cold weather is what brings on the change from human to wolf. I also found the perpetual absence of Grace’s parents--not to mention their complete lack of involvement in her life--highly unlikely. Other than that, it was very well-written and kept me turning the pages. Apparently, it’s the first in a trilogy, The Wolves of Mercy Falls. I’ll be looking for book #2, Linger, when it comes out at the end of July.
