Jacinda’s story is far from over in this third book of the Firelight series. In the last book, Jacinda was supposed to have bonded with Cassian, her pack’s prince and fellow dragon. Her mom ran away, leaving Jacinda and her sister to fend for themselves. She ended up getting Cassian’s sister kidnapped and fell in love with a human who happened to be a dragon hunter and part dragon. Now, Jacinda has a plan to get herself kidnapped and escape with Miriam, Cassian’s sister. Things don’t always go as planned, however, especially not when a violent dragon joins their group and falls in love with her sister.
In this book, a lot of questions are answered, like “What happened to Jacinda’s dad?” and personal questions such as “Are Jacinda and Will destined to be together?” I thought that this book was really good, but there were times when I wanted to stop and only read the parts where Will and Jacinda were together. This book is for people who like series that end definitively and where the romance is so cute you want to pinch its cheeks. I recommend it for people who have read the first two books.
