A Wrinkle in Time is about a 13-year old girl named Meg Murry. It’s a dark night and Meg can’t sleep. Soon, Mrs. Mury and Meg’s little brother, Charles Wallace, are downstairs also. They hear a knock at the door and it turns out to be an odd woman that Charles claims to know. After emptying her boots, the odd woman, Mrs. Whatsit, leaves. They hear her say, “I’ll be on my way. Speaking of ways, by the way, there is such a thing as a tesseract.”
Meg and Charles are going to find out what this means, and they meet Calvin O’Keefe. Soon, Meg, Charles, and Calvin are swept through the fifth dimension along with Mrs. Whatsit and her friends, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which. Eventually, they meet singing, winged centaurs, fight evil brains, breathe through flowers, save their brother from becoming a zombie, and rescue their father.
Also, they meet the Happy Medium.
