Have you ever heard of Marie Antoinette? If not, she was a Princess (Queen) of the court of Versailles. She was married to Louis XI of France. She was someone else before she was the Princess, though.
Antonia was a daughter of the strict and nosy Maria Theresa, Empress of the Holy Roman Empire. Her late father died when she was nine and she had fifteen siblings. Antonia lived in Vienna, Austria though ever since her father’s death, she was promised to be married to Louis XI. Since then, she had to learn how to write and speak fluently in French, dance and ride horses in the French manner and learn colossal volumes of French etiquette. To top it off, Antonia loathed writing and did not enjoy reading. Her tutor gave her a journal as an attempt to make her writing improve.
If you like history, read this! My favorite part is when she has to learn gambling. In truth, she later becomes addicted to it!
